Given then rising cost pressure and greater competition for patients in the clinics, new and innovative solutions are required that extend the range of services of hospitals to go beyond inpatient services. In view of this development, Angermann & Partner has developed a corporate concept that enables hospitals and statutory general practitioners to offer services to self-pay patients. Patients become clients that are supported beyond their inpatient and outpatient treatment. The aim is to offer a long-term and efficient high-quality kinesitherapeutic service for patients with chronic diseases for instance. The corporate concept was specifically designed for the needs of “best agers” (45 – 75 years) and represents the best physiotherapy combined with gym facilities. In collaboration with a hospital and by involving statutory general practitioners, this approach opens up new opportunities for patient and client retention.
The kinesitherapeutic centre allows operators:
- to differentiate themselves on the market
- to be close to patients/clients by setting up branches
- to lastingly improve profitability
The concept developed by Angermann & Partner shows that it is possible to use preventative kinesitherapeutic and nutritional measures in accordance with § 20 SGB V in order to involve statutory general practitioners and hospitals as well as health insurers in new forms of health care and to be successful with these.
