The structure of a company has often emerged historically and quite often, medium-sized businesses grow without their organisation, business processes and IT systems growing with it or being adequate. Given rising demands of clients, banks and investors it is helpful and often necessary to analyse the balance of organisation, business processes and to adjust them to the requirements. We know that this is often not easy, especially in the case of owner-run companies. A number of our projects show however that it is possible.
